Gilles David
Gilles is a French graduated Electrical Engineer from CentraleSupelec school of Engineering born in Strasbourg in 1957. Gilles has 40 years of experience in the French electromechanical industry. After a career at Cegelec where he became Commercial Director of the Hydroelectric Power Plant Department in 1995, he became President of Alstom Philippines in 1999. Returning to France in 2003, he created the decentralized energy activity within Alstom T&D, which became Areva Bioenergy, attached to Areva Renewable.
Gilles left Areva Renewable in 2007 and created Enertime in 2008 and has been CEO of Enertime since then. Enertime is a French SME based in Courbevoie near Paris La Défense that design and build large ORC, high temperature heat pumps and gas expansion turbine. Enertime is listed on Euronext Growth stock market. Gilles has been member of the supervisory board of French windmill manufacturer Vergnet from 2012 to 2016 and advisor of Wilco, the start-up accelerator of Île-de-France Region from 2017 to 2022.
